News Alert - 2nd First Home Buyers’ Pulse Check

RAMS Home Loans recently conducted the second edition of its unique market research study which looks at the attitudes, behaviours and perceptions of recent first home buyers and first home seekers.

The key issues explored by the survey were:

  • The key motivators that drive people to look for their first home
  • The type of home they are looking for and their preferred location
  • The influence of the Boost on the First Home Owners Grant and consecutive interest rate reductions on first home buyers
  • The sources of advice used for determining which home to buy, which lender to choose and what sort of mortgage to obtain
  • How new home owners manage their mortgage
  • The sort of advice new home owners would give those yet to find their first home

The 2nd First Home Buyers’ Pulse Check again discovered some interesting insights.

RAMS 2nd First Home Buyers’ Pulse Check (September 2009 edition) was designed to provide a unique window into the behaviours, attitudes and experiences of those Australians who are seeking to purchase their first home and those people who have purchased their first home within the past 12 months.
