"Never ever rent your house to anyone, even family, if you have it on the market to sell. It's better to get a sale, than to have tenants and rental income. I know I sold 3 houses (2 tenanted) last year. The one that sold the easiest and quickest was vacant and set up with freedom furniture throughout."
